Bring your lunch and join our annual business meeting at which we nominate and elect members of the AAUW Reno Leadership Council. Please consider volunteering to serve on the Leadership Council for 2025-2026. We can’t continue as a branch without you! Saturday, February 8, 2025, 11:00 a.m – 1:00 p.m. at Famous Daves.
We’re excited to have Sue Davis of the Nevada Women’s History Project join us to share their plans for National Women’s History Month (March 2025). We hope you’ll join us for lunch, good company, and a very interesting presentation as we look ahead to March.
Saturday, December 8, 2024, Holiday Party
We’ll meet at the Nevada Women’s Fund office for a presentation by Ila Atchabowski, CEO of the NWF, followed by time to mingle and snack on appetizers.

Join us at the Nevada Historical Society, located at 1650 N. Virginia Street, Reno, on the UNR campus across from the Planetarium.
We’ll have a tour of the galleries of the oldest museum in the state (founded in 1904) and learn more about the repository where the archives of AAUW Nevada are housed.
Sunday, September 15, 2024, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Membership Kickoff (Social)
We’ll meet at Famous Dave’s restaurant, located at 4925 Kietzke Lane, Reno, in the Save Mart shopping area.
Reno member Jody Baden, owner of Transparency in Politics, will talk to us briefly about her research on why candidates choose not to take a background check. We’ll still have plenty of time for conversation and re-learning a little about our branch. Bring guests and socialize with new and old friends.
